\n\t\t\t\t\t\t(1799 - 1851) He was a Czech physician, discoverer of hydrotherapy and founder of the Priessnitz Spa (1822) in Jesen\u00edk. Dozens of hydrotherapy spas were built throughout Europe based on Priessnitz's model. He is known as the water doctor. Numerous influential personalities came to Jesen\u00edky for treatment. He was respected and admired by his patients and rejected by representatives of official medicine. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Art Nouveau ballroom was built by Cardinal Georg Kopp, Bishop of Breslau, in 1906-1907. Inside was a restaurant, a large ballroom and a guesthouse. After Cardinal Kopp, the ballroom took the name Georgs Hall. Before the war it was a popular tourist destination and parties were held every weekend.
