\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Formigine Castle, located in the heart of the town of the same name, appears to have origins as far back as the 10th century. In the 14th century, the castle underwent significant transformations and changes of ownership. Unfortunately, during the Second World War, the castle suffered considerable damage, but thanks to subsequent restoration work, its historical and architectural beauty has been able to shine through. The castle is divided into two distinct parts: the Rocchetta, which had defensive functions and houses the Clock Tower, and the Palazzo Marchionale, which served as a noble residence and preserves traces of ancient frescoes that tell its story.\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

An important archaeological area has brought to light the remains of an ancient parish church dedicated to Saint Bartholomew, a medieval cemetery and a medieval village. These discoveries have offered scholars very interesting insights into daily life over the centuries and the history of the site.
